The portfolio is invested in 30 stocks, which are diversified amongst industry sectors and globally.
 
Investment Thesis
 
Aging demographics, favorable tax treatment under current tax laws, expectations of modest market returns, and a low interest rate environment create demand for stocks paying high quality dividends.
 
Since 1972, the long term performance of stocks growing their dividend has exceeded the stock market's overall return. The added component of higher dividend yields also offers greater protection during market downturns (lower risks).
 
Dividends have accounted for approximately 50% of the stock market's total return since 1930.
